THIS IS INCREDIBLE: Trump has officially gotten so worked up over Kaitlan Collins that we’re now diagnosing him with a full blown case of Kaitlan Derangement Syndrome.
Just before midnight Tuesday, Trump fired off a Truth Social rant about Collins, calling her a “truly unhappy person” and a “Third Rate ‘Reporter,'” then claiming she has an “addiction” to him.
“She’s got a ‘TRUMP’ addiction, and so does CNN and MSDNC,” Trump wrote. “They’re all sick, treasonous, and demented!”
Read that again. The president of the United States spent his night, at 11:53 p.m., composing a rant about one journalist’s supposed obsession with him.
This all traces back to earlier that day, when Trump spotted Collins outside the UN and immediately snapped.
“I’m surprised that CNN is here covering me. You shouldn’t be here!” Trump said.
“The United Nations allowed us in, sir,” Collins replied, completely unbothered.
“You should not be here covering me,” Trump repeated, before putting his hand up to silence reporters and walking off.
Thirteen hours later, he was still thinking about it, enough to write a late night Truth Social post diagnosing her with an addiction.
Meanwhile, CNN didn’t even air his UN speech live, choosing instead to only show a brief clip after he’d already walked off stage.
So let’s get this straight. Collins asked a question, got let into the UN legally, and calmly clapped back with one sentence. Trump spent his night obsessing over her instead.
If anyone has an addiction here, it’s not Kaitlan Collins.
