THIS IS HILARIOUS: Trump got caught on a hot mic saying he just wanted to go home, moments after his own team won the Presidents Cup.
Trump posed with the trophy at Medinah Country Club after the US team’s win, shaking hands with captain Brandt Snedeker and telling him, “You’re going to go home in history.”
Then he turned away from the celebration and could be heard saying, “I’d like to go home.”
Read that again.
The players walked off. A song by Pink, who has been openly critical of Trump, started playing and drowned out whatever came next.
One X account summed up the reaction perfectly: “If this was Joe Biden it would be on a loop already on Fox News.”
It gets even more awkward. Earlier in his remarks, Trump admitted he didn’t have “the courage” to give a real speech, telling the crowd, “These people want to see golf. They don’t want to hear speeches.”
Despite all that, his Truth Social feed was still flooded with seven different videos from the trip.
He left for the White House less than an hour later, arrived just after 9:30 PM, called it a “tremendous day,” and didn’t take a single question from reporters.
