THIS IS HILARIOUS: A Kentucky MAGA festival billed as “the best MAGA event” just got canceled after selling a grand total of six VIP tickets.

Organizer Eric Deters, a 2023 Republican gubernatorial candidate, announced the cancellation of Patriot’s Day Freedom Fest in a now-deleted Facebook video, just days before it was set to happen. The lineup included Kid Rock, Duane “Dog the Bounty Hunter” Chapman, Fox News’s Joe Concha, and Rep. James Comer. Deters explained his original plan was simple: sell $1,000 VIP tickets to a hundred wealthy acquaintances to cover the costs. Then reality hit. “I said, ‘How many have bought a ticket?'” Deters recalled. “And he said, ‘You can’t make this up.’ Are you ready for the drumroll? Only six people had bought a VIP ticket.” Six. Out of a hundred needed. Deters didn’t hold back his frustration at the crowd he expected to show up for him. “Out of all these people that have money that I interact with, who I do favors for all day long,” he said. “They ask me for something; I never say no. I never said no to these people.” He promised to “never ever, ever, ever, ever” do the event again. He also insisted, seemingly unprompted, that the cancellation had “absolutely nothing to do” with Kid Rock, whose team clarified he was only added five days before the whole thing collapsed and was booked merely to speak, not perform. Six VIP tickets. That’s the level of enthusiasm this event managed to generate.
